From our mid-twenties onwards, we lose around 10% of our muscle every decade of our life. By the time we’re 70 we will have lost 40-50% of our muscle! Sarcopenia, the decline of muscle mass, is a debilitating natural occurrence of human nature, which at best leads to a slow decline in physical activity and well-being, and at worst can result in immobility. When we stop moving our health rapidly deteriorates.

Sarcopenia can be avoided and we can remain mobile and independent for our entire lives by maintaining our muscle and in turn our strength or by reversing the loss of muscle and strength with correctly structured strength training and coaching, at all ages. 

Endurance activities, which is commonly the activity of choice, will improve our cardiovascular fitness, albeit predominantly only one of our three energy systems, but at a cost; depending on age, the participation in endurance activities will speed up the loss of muscle and in turn the ageing process. Whereas correctly structured strength training will improve our cardiovascular fitness, working all three of our energy systems and also give us all the other astonishing outcomes that participation in correctly structured strength training gives us, including, our independence for our entire life.

Some of our clients have been in their late 80s and 90s. Not for all clients of this age, but for some, sometimes an appointment of shorter duration is more suitable. For this reason with this package we offer 40 minute appointments also. 

A 15-20’ discussion or more if needed in person or over the phone is offered. From then on the first appointment would be purchased as a single appointment so that you can have a better idea of the product and get to know the specialist before committing to a monthly subscription. The single appointment will be offset from the first month's price.



20% discount off of all prices displayed, for Ringwood (Hampshire/Dorset) clients due to new business start up. This will be honoured for at least through spring and summer 2023.
